Overview

New school building (built 2022), good possibilities for sports and arts. Co-operation with local Companies and Universities (Oulu University, Centria polytechnics). Good results at national exams. Student excursions abroad every year. City library next to us.

We give our foreign students extra tuition and help in every possible way. The students can get help from our school nurse, psychologist, student counselor, special education teacher, or principal. Furthermore, we have employees who help foreign students in their free time.

Erasmus+ -program with Jena, Germany. Also study trip abroad every year to some city in Europe (Paris, Rome etc.). 

All services are located less than one kilometer from the school (health care center, bus station, gym etc).

Co-operation with local companies and universities and also Art studies with music school and folk high school. Our school has got brand new facilities and equipment.

Location: 125 km to Oulu, 45 km to Ylivieska, 500 km to Helsinki. Our students usually apply to Oulu University, Tampere University. We have co-operation with Oulu University in chemistry.

Expenses

Living expenses: 300-400€/month 1h-2h room, and flat sharing 150€-200€/room/month

The school offers for free: Free finnish driving licence (lessons and materials), tuition, laptop, lunch on schooldays, learning materials, textbooks/e-books, e-learning environment, student healthcare, tutor, small study groups, free time mentor

Apartments are located less than 1 km from the high school and grocery stores.
